CONFERENCE TO REVIEW PRODUCTION AND BUSINESS ACTIVITIES IN 2024, TO IMPLEMENT TASKS, PLANS AND EMPLOYEE CONFERENCE IN 2025

On the morning of January 17^th, 2025, DIC Group successfully organised the "Conference to review production and business activities in 2024, to implement tasks, plans, and the Employee Conference in 2025." The event was held in an upbeat atmosphere, exhibiting a sense of resolve to achieve strategic goals in the current development period.

In 2024, DIC Group operated decisively, sticking to strategic objectives and generating great outcomes.

The Group has undergone major restructuring, with new tasks and responsibilities added to its sections. Simultaneously, several practical courses have been developed to prioritise professional training for authorities and staff. These actions not only improve the quality of human resources, but also safeguard the DIC Group's development in terms of integration and innovation.

In 2024, DIC Group accomplished numerous major accomplishments in financial operations, demonstrating its stability and ability to mobilise resources for strategic goals. Notably, these include: Successfully issuing VND 1,600 billion in bonds to invest in the Long Tan Tourist Urban Area project; signing a credit contract worth VND 1,500 billion with BIDV to finance the Cap Saint Jacques Complex project for Phases 2 and 3; and settling the bond lot DIG12101 (equivalent to VND 461 billion plus VND 27.8 billion in interest).

Additionally, the conference covered in detail the production and business results of the Group's member units that contributed capital in 2024 according to three main activity blocks: the Building Materials Sector (DIC Concrete and DIC Brothers); the Construction and Installation Block (DIC No. 1, DIC No. 2, and DICcons); and the Real Estate, Trade, and Tourism Sector (DIC Hospitality, DIC Resco, DIC Vision, DIC Ubiz, DIC Phuong Nam, and Thien Quang). These sectors continue to prove essential to the long-term plan, helping maintain and further develop the DIC brand in the marketplace.

The year 2025 marks the 35th anniversary of the establishment of DIC Group. With this special significance, DIC Group has set the following goals: to complete legal procedures and project transfers; to record positive business results and maintain growth momentum; to implement restructuring, investment, financial solutions, and enhance production and business capacity at member units.

Mr. Dinh Hong Ky - Independent member of the Board of Directors shared: “The year 2025 will be an important milestone, regarded as a year full of potential thanks to breakthroughs in institutional and infrastructure development from the Government. With a keen business strategy and over 34 years of experience in the real estate investment sector, DIC Group has a solid foundation to set ambitious development goals and achieve milestones to commemorate its 35th anniversary."

Key tasks for 2025 and a summary of trade union activity in 2024

Under the strict supervision of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union and with the support of the Party Committee and the Group's Board of Directors, DIC Trade Union continues to assert its role as a strong fulcrum for employees and a bridge uniting all members of the DIC family.

By the end of the third quarter of 2024, the total number of employees of DIC Group will reach 1,823 individuals, including 617 female employees, accounting for 33.8%. The average income of employees at affiliated grassroots trade unions reached 11.7 million VND per month, an increase of 11.5% compared to 2023. This is an encouraging result, demonstrating the Trade Union's relentless efforts in improving the welfare and working conditions of employees.

In 2024, DIC Trade Union has effectively implemented many key tasks, including: protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees; caring for the lives of union members and employees; propagating and educating to raise awareness for union members and employees; promoting a patriotic emulation movement; developing union members and building a strong trade union organisation; improving the quality of activities of trade union officials; and advancing women's work...

Thanks to practical contributions, the DIC Trade Union has been granted the title of "Outstanding accomplishment" by the Vietnam Construction Trade Union. In particular, DIC Trade Union was awarded the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour's Emulation Flag in recognition of excellent contributions to the good labour movement and the development of a strong trade union organization.

Within the framework of the conference, the Board of Directors of DIC Group held a ceremony to commend and reward individuals and collectives with excellent achievements in 2024. Specifically, 71 officers and employees were awarded certificates of merit for successfully completing tasks and honouring 18 collectives for outstanding achievements in the emulation movement in 2024 under the theme "Total strength".

Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Mr. Nguyen Quang Tin – General Director of DIC Group emphasized: "The achievements accomplished in 2024 are the motivation for DIC Group to confidently enter 2025. We will continue to optimize resources, improve governance efficiency and promote strategic solutions to propel DIC forward and strengthen its position in the real estate industry. On behalf of the Executive Board, I urge all officers, employees, and member units to remain unanimous, united, and committed to meeting production and business targets, therefore advancing DIC further on the journey of sustainable development."
