Ong Con Island in Dai Phuoc Commune (Dong Nai Province) is a famous location - a unique water-form oasis with abundant natural landscape, four sides covered by Dong Nai river with trees and canal systems. This place is also granted a water coconut ecosystem by Mother Nature, bringing both the green and the protection belt to help maintaining the sustainable development of Ong Con Island.

With four sides of terrain bordered by waterways and favorable landscape, this place is suitable for ecotourism development, serving the resting and recreation needs of local people and the Southeast Provincial residents, especially from Ho Chi Minh City.

Recognizing the potential of this oasis, in order to stimulate the project, the investor DIC Group has invested VND 228 billion to build Dai Phuoc Bridge. Once completed in July 2009, Dai Phuoc bridge will awake the potential and status of a lotus pond abandoned for years.

Besides, when the technical infrastructure system is synchronously invested along with properly arranged functional subdivisions, this project promises to create a miniature modern city including: Housing projects in the form of villas, apartments, commercial centers; large projects such as office buildings, hotels, trade centers, entertainment spots, leisure, golf courses and resorts, etc.

Up to now, this “pearl” has been honed into a Dai Phuoc Ecotourism Urban Area with 464.6 ha in scale, ensuring a more modern appearance but still retain the natural beauty of trees and rivers.
