DIC FAMILY CULTURAL FESTIVAL OF 2018: KEEPING THE CORPORATION’S IDENTITY

Nearly 2,000 employees are excited to join the DIC Family Cultural Festival.

The 2018 is considered an important year before DIC's 30 years of development. This is also the first year when the company transformed its operating model to become a private economic group. From the early days of establishment, DIC Group strives to affirm its position and become a prestigious brand name in the field of real estate development & investment. In addition, DIC's leaders and employees have joined hands to preserve and promote their own corporate identity.

Sharing the meaning of this event, Mrs. Phan Thi Mai Huong - Head of the Organizing Committee cum Chairman of DIC Group’s Trade Union said that the DIC Family Cultural Festival is held annually with the desire to maintain the cultural tradition of enterprise. The festival is a mental entertainment playground after stressful working days, where the employees’ families have the opportunity to sit back and share the joy before the Tet holiday. Since then, creating cohesion between employees and become a source of strength for DIC Group to achieve new steps in the future.

Joining to the DIC Family Cultural Festival this year, DIC members have had "burned out" moments with attractive team building games. Each member must do his best and support his teammates to overcome obstacles. "Demonstrating the spirit of mutual support, overcoming challenges is the meaning that organizers want to convey through team building games", expressed Mrs. Phan Thi Mai Huong.

Following the exciting team-building in the morning is the Gala Dinner took place in the evening. The member units have worked hard to prepare and elaborate music performances to bring rich colors for the Gala Dinner. In particular, the appearance of singer Thuy Tien, Vmusic boy-band, White Cloud girl-band has made the audience extremely excited, stirring the atmosphere of the program.

At the festival, in order to acknowledge the contributions of the employees, DIC Group commended 20 excellent labor officers and employees who are the advanced examples of production and business workers.

In addition to the collective spirit, solidarity through team building games, DIC Family Cultural Festival increased its meaning when expressing the spirit of mutual support, responsibility to the community. In the framework of the event, the project "DIC - Future Solidity" was officially launched to promote the chain of welfare activities of DIC Group more and more practical and effective in the future. The project "DIC - Future Solidity" has started with the first campaign called "Thousand gifts for New Year – Connecting love ".

Responding to the call of DIC Group, the program "Thousand gifts for New Year – Connecting love" received the contribution amount: VND 1,510,970,000 and USD 10,000 from the DIC Corp - Parent Company and the member companies of DIC Group. This amount will be used to take care of the Lunar New Year festival for the workers and the people in difficult circumstances to welcome Lunar New Year of 2019.

The voluntary project "DIC - Future Solidity" officially kicked off with the campaign "Thousand gifts for New Year – Connecting love ".

Along with 28 years of development, DIC Group always considers social welfare activities as a part of its responsibility to the community, to contribute to the long-term and sustainable development of Ba Ria Province - Vung Tau in particular and the whole society in general. By practical dedication activities for the community, at the end of November, DIC Group has just been praised by Ba Ria Vung Tau People's Committee, acknowledging the "Golden Heart" for its contributions to the social welfare program for the period of 2014 - 2018.
