DIC GROUP: 30-YEAR JOURNEY OF "BREAKING SUCCESS"

On the morning of July 5th 2020, the Development Investment Construction Corporation (DIC Group, HoSE: DIG) held the 30th anniversary of its founding (1990 - 2020) with the theme "Proud to connect - Breaking success”.

At the event, on behalf of the BODs, the Board of Management, Mr. Nguyen Thien Tuan - Chairman of DIC Group warmly welcomed the delegates to the celebration and sent his sincere gratitude to the leaders of the Party and the State, The Government and localities have supported and accompanied the DIC.

The celebration successfully recreated important milestones in the 30-year history of establishment and development. With many large-scale projects, DIC Group has gradually affirmed its own identity in the real estate market of Vietnam - a pioneer brand in the journey of exploring and awakening the golden potential of lands such as DIC Chi Linh City; DIC Dai Phuoc City Dong Nai; DIC Nam Vinh Yen City Vinh Phuc City ...

Looking back on the 30-year journey, DIC Group is proud to overcome all difficulties, ups and downs of the economy, and contribute to the country's renewal and modernization. The position of enterprises is not only confirmed through real estate projects but also by the efficiency in production and business. In the period of 2015 - 2019 alone, DIC Group has achieved impressive growth figures. Specifically: Charter capital in 2019 reached VND 3,149 billion, an increase of 47% compared to 2015; Total assets in 2019 reached VND 8,197 billion, up 61% compared to 2015; Net revenue in 2019 reached VND 2,116 billion, an increase of 223% compared to 2015; Profit before tax in 2019 reached VND 471 billion, 15 times higher than 2015.

In the next 5-year business strategy, DIC Group continues to prioritize the development of satellite urban projects to relocate people from big cities; develop the local economy and solve job problems. At the same time, promoting the development of tourism real estate projects including resorts, condotels, high-standard hotels associated with international brands in cities that are convenient for tourism or located in DIC’s urban projects.

Business development is associated with community benefits, which is the guiding principle in the past 3 decades of enterprises since its establishment. In 2019, DIC Group has contributed over VND 20 billion to social security, carried out nearly 100 community-based activities nationwide with thousands of beneficiaries and attracted hundreds of employees participating in volunteer activities.

At the celebration, in order to honor and recognize the achievements of businesses that have made efforts to contribute to the cause of socio-economic development, the Central and Local Leaders have presented laudatory writing to the DIC’s BODs.
