DIC GROUP 6 CONSECUTIVE YEARS WON THE TOP 500 MOST PROFITABLE ENTERPRISES IN VIETNAM

On October 26th, in Hanoi, Vietnam Report in collaboration with Vietnamnet newspaper held a ceremony to announce the Top 500 most profitable enterprises in Vietnam in 2023 (PROFIT500 Ranking). This is the 6th consecutive year that DIC Group (HoSE: DIG) continues to appear in this prestigious ranking.

PROFIT500 – The ranking of 500 most profitable enterprises in Vietnam is based on the results of independent research and assessment according to international standards of Vietnam Report, published annually from 2017 to now. The ranking is based on many objective criteria, including: profit before tax, total revenue and profit before tax / total revenue. The criteria of asset size, labor scale, revenue growth potential, profit and media reputation of the enterprise are reference criteria to complete the ranking.

Following the pace of global economic and political fluctuations, Vietnam's economic growth from the beginning of 2023 to now has decelerated markedly. The GDP growth rate in the first 6 months of 2023 will reach 3.72%, only higher than the period of 2020 (a year deeply affected by Covid-19) in the past 13 years. Data from the General Statistics Office in the first 8 months of this year also showed that 124.7 thousand enterprises withdrew from the market, up 15.6% over the same period last year, reflecting the challenging context of the business environment.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, the PROFIT500 Evaluation Council emphasized: "In the context of slow global economic growth, facing many unpredictable risks and fluctuations, the Top 500 Best Profitable Enterprises in Vietnam in 2023 has made great efforts in optimizing resources, improve financial performance, thereby making a significant difference from the rest of the market."

According to the official results of Vietnam Report, at the PROFIT500 ranking in 2023, DIC Group ranked 435/500 (a composite ranking of 500 most profitable enterprises in Vietnam); ranked 246/500 (Ranking of 500 most profitable private enterprises in Vietnam); ranked 37/56 (Ranking of Private Enterprises in Real Estate).

Nam Vinh Yen City Vinh Khuc urban area is a key project of DIC Group, affirming the imprint and brand of DIC in the northern real estate market.

Sharing about this award, Mr. Nguyen Thien Tuan – Chairman of DIC Group said: "The 6 consecutive years of participation in the ranking PROFIT500 demonstrates the stability of growth and sustainability of DIC Group. With a pioneering strategy to develop satellite urban areas and more than 33 years of experience in the field of real estate, DIC Group is striving to become the Top 5 largest real estate groups in Vietnam". To realize this goal, according to the operation orientation of DIC Group's Board of Directors, the 5-year business plan for the period of 2023 – 2027, the targets of revenue, profit, development investment capital, dividends grow from 15 – 30% compared to the period of 2018 – 2022. In particular, real estate investment and development is still the core field of operation of DIC Group.

According to the separate financial report for the third quarter of 2023 of the parent company DIC Group, revenue reached VND 131.2 billion, profit before tax reached VND 38.9 billion. In the first 9 months of 2023, the parent company of DIC Group recorded revenue of VND 246.6 billion, profit before tax reached VND 184.2 billion. DIC Group's third-quarter 2023 business results mark a marked recovery after a difficult period in the real estate market. With an effective management and administration strategy, DIC Group is achieving positive changes in business results and accelerating the implementation of key projects to accelerate the finish line in the fourth quarter of 2023.
