DIC GROUP: COOPERATION IN EDUCATION AND PROMOTION SOCIAL SECURITY
On the morning of February 22 2022 in Vung Tau City, DIC Group and Hanoi National University (VNU) have signed a cooperation agreement. This signing officially creates a premise for VNU to advise on the development of the school system in projects invested by DIC Group.

Nguyen Thien Tuan - Chairman of the BODs of DIC Group affirmed: “The strategic cooperation between DIC Group and VNU plays an important role in exploiting and promoting the strengths of each side inside the implementation of development goals of VNU and DIC Group in particular, the sustainable development of education in Vietnam in general”.

According to the signed cooperation agreement, the two sides will cooperate in 3 areas: Training and developing human resources; Scientific research, consulting and technology transfer; Develop urban ecology and ensure social security.
In particular, the education sector is a strategy prioritized by DIC Group to invest in the coming period. Therefore, VNU will advise on the development of the school system (Inter-level or non-international; International or General education) in urban projects invested by DIC Group.
At the same time, VNU consults, provides and trains human resources for the system of schools and educational institutions invested by DIC Group in the whole country.

At the signing ceremony, the representatives of the two sides agreed to study and research cooperation mechanisms so that they can build educational systems and institutions associated with the brands of both VNU and DIC across the country. (Model of socialized educational institutions).
Mr. Nguyen Thien Tuan - Chairman of the BODs of DIC Group emphasized: “The size of the staff working at DIC Group is now more than 5,000 employees. DIC Group still has a great need for high-quality human resources, serving the goal of reaching the target of a market capitalization of USD 30-50 billion in the future.”
Stemming from VNU's strength in human resource training and DIC Group's need for high-quality resources, the two sides will continue to discuss for deeper cooperation on the following issues: Restructuring; Improve the quality of human resources to match the restructuring; Digital conversion; Improve the application of science and technology into practice, access to scientific and technical advances in the world in the coming time.
The representatives of the two sides believed that the cooperation agreement ceremony opened up opportunities for extensive and effective cooperation in the field of education. This event affirms the long-term vision of DIC Group in the strategy of increasing utility in urban projects.
DIC GROUP POWERED TO WIN COVID-19 EPIDEMIC
Since the Covid-19 epidemic broke out again (From April 27th 2021), DIC Group has contributed tens of billions of dong to the health sector and localities such as: Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Quang Binh, Vinh Phuc etc.
With many practical and timely actions, DIC Group is contributing more resources to Vietnam to gradually fight back the epidemic. Most recently, DIC Group sponsored VND 500 million for the “Vietnam Medical Achievement Award 2021” took place on February 26th at the HCMC Opera House with the theme "Covid-19 Prevention, White Blouse Mission". The "Vietnam Medical Achievement Award 2021" honors products that serve the community, products with high technology application in hemodialysis treatment in the isolation area, taking care, treating, saving the lives of infants and pregnant women who are F0 etc.
