PRELIMINARY CONFERENCE ON BUSINESS ACTIVITIES IN THE FIRST 7 MONTHS OF THE YEAR & SOLUTIONS TO COMPLETE THE PLAN IN 2023

In the afternoon of August 14^th, 2023, DIC Group held a "Preliminary conference on business activities in the first 7 months of the year & solutions to complete the 2023 plan". General Director Nguyen Quang Tin chaired the conference with the participation of representatives of 18 departments, branches under DIC Group.

Overview of the meeting

The conference is an opportunity to comprehensively evaluate the production and business activities in the first 7 months of 2023 of DIC Group, pointing out the positive aspects that have been achieved. Besides, looking directly at the existing difficulties; from which to give recommendations and solutions to remove difficulties step by step in the coming time.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, General Director Nguyen Quang Tin made a general evaluation of the business results. “Business results in the first 6 months of the year were low, not meeting expectations. Therefore, in the last 5 months of the year, the Board of Management and the Group's officers and employees must make every effort to accelerate to the finish line," Mr. Nguyen Quang Tin emphasized.

At the conference, the General Director also shared some positive changes in the business. From the beginning of June until now, DIC Group has been gradually removing the bottlenecks in terms of credit capital and project legality.

According to the report on financial work of Mr. Bui Van Su - Chief Accountant of DIC Group, DIC Group has completed the signing of a working capital credit contract with a total value of VND 180 billion with Agribank and BIDV. In addition, in the first 7 months of 2023, the enterprise recorded a total revenue of VND 2,059 billion. The Chief Accountant of DIC Group also proposed the Market & Business Development Department and related departments to focus on accelerating the sales schedule; collect debts and launch new products to achieve 2023 revenue targets.

Regarding project legality, the DIC Lantana City Ha Nam project (Legal name: Lam Ha Center Point Residential Area – Scale: 13.5ha) has completed an important legal milestone. Specifically, on August 14, 2023, the People's Committee of Ha Nam province issued Decision No. 907/QD-UBND on "Approving the local adjustment of the detailed construction plan at the scale of 1/500 of Lam Ha Center Point residential area in Lam Ha ward, Phu Ly city". The addition of social housing land area is to ensure sufficient allocation of land fund (20% of residential land area). Accordingly, the project is adjusted the planned land plot from adjacent residential land (Symbol LK16, area of 1,391m2) to social housing land (Built in the form of an apartment building) with 5 floors (Maximum construction density of 75%, land use coefficient up to 4 times).

Overall project DIC Lantana City Ha Nam.

This is an effort to remove difficulties of the local government of Ha Nam province for the DIC Lantana City Ha Nam project. This decision is an important legal premise to accelerate the project. General Director Nguyen Quang Tin directed DIC Ha Nam Project Management Board to continue to closely coordinate with localities to implement in accordance with the provisions of law. It is expected that in August 2023, the enterprise will complete the dossier of the feasibility study report according to the adjusted plan and submit it to the Construction Activities Management Department. With the support of the Ha Nam provincial government, the DIC Lantana City Ha Nam project is expected to be officially licensed for construction in September 2023.

After listening to 18 departments, departments and branches under DIC Group report on work results and propose solutions and recommendations, Mr. Nguyen Quang Tin concluded to direct, focusing on the group of key tasks to complete the business plan in 2023.

Within the framework of the conference, General Director Nguyen Quang Tin launched the emulation movement to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the establishment of DIC Group (26/5/1990 – 26/5/2025) with 3 main stages: Launch (01/8/2023 – 31/12/2023); Total Force (01/01/2024 – 31/12/2024) and Finish (01/01/2025 – 26/5/2025).
