The Deputy Prime Minister requested to remove obstacles for 2 major projects of DIC Group in Dong Nai.
On April 11st, Mr. Nguyen Cao Luc, Deputy Director of the Government Office, signed a document announcing the conclusion of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha at the meeting on the policy of contributing capital by land use rights to enterprises to implement level 2 projects according to the detailed construction plan at the rate of 1/500 Dai Phuoc ecological urban area project and urban area project Long Tan tourist town in Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province.
The conclusion stated that, on March 15th, at the Government Headquarters, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha chaired a meeting on the policy of contributing capital by land use rights to enterprises to implement level 2 projects according to the detailed construction plan at the rate of 1/500 Dai Phuoc ecological urban area project and Long Tan tourist urban area project.
Participating in the meeting were leaders of ministries and agencies such as Planning and Investment, Construction, Justice, Agriculture and Rural Development, Natural Resources and Environment, Government Inspectorate, Public Security, Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, Construction Development Investment Joint Stock Corporation (DIC Group, HoSE: DIG) and Government Office.
After listening to the report of the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, DIC Group and the comments of the delegates attending the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha concluded that for the policy of contributing capital by land use rights to enterprises to implement level 2 projects according to the detailed construction plan of 1/500 Dai Phuoc ecological urban area project, the People's Committee of Dong province Nai, DIC Group, based on relevant legal provisions, comprehensively review the above-mentioned dossiers, proactively coordinate with relevant agencies to comply with their competence and in accordance with the provisions of law.
For the Long Tan tourist urban area project, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha assigned the People's Committee of Dong Nai province to review and clearly identify the actual problems of the project. On that basis, there are appropriate solutions to remove difficulties for Long Tan Tourist Urban Area according to its competence.
With the contents falling under the authority of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Planning and Investment needs to clearly define the legal basis. On that basis, guide the People's Committee of Dong Nai province to complete the dossier, appraise and submit it to the Prime Minister in accordance with the provisions of law.
It is known that the Long Tan tourist urban area project has a scale of 332 hectares, located in Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province and has an investment capital of about VND 20,000 billion.
At the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders at the end of 2022, the company said it had compensated for site clearance for more than 156ha with a total cost of VND1,324 billion. It is expected that in early 2023, the enterprise will be allocated land for the first phase (82.1ha) and eligible to start construction.
The Dai Phuoc ecological urban area project in Dong Nai has a scale of 465ha with a total investment of VND 7,506 billion. Unfinished business expenses at the project as of the end of the fourth quarter of 2022 were VND 1,321 billion.
