DIC GROUP LAUNCHED THE CONSTRUCTION OF DIC STAR HOTEL HAU GIANG

On the afternoon of July 16th 2022, DIC Group (HoSE: DIG) officially held "The Launching Ceremony for Hau Giang DIC Star Hotel" in the heart of DIC Victory City (Legal name: Vi Thanh Commercial-Residential Area). This event was rolled out to commemorate the Hau Giang Investment Promotion Conference in 2022.

HAU GIANG DIC STAR – THE FIRST 5-STAR HOTEL IN HAU GIANG PROVINCE

Hau Giang DIC Star is the first 5-star hotel in Hau Giang province, marking DIC Group as the pioneer investor in this locality. The construction was built on a wide area of ​​1.3 hectares in section 2, which is the center of the urban area. Total investment is expected to be nearly VND 700 billion. Upon completion, Hau Giang DIC Star will provide 152 five-star qualified bedrooms, a 1,000-seat conference center and a full range of additional services. This project was officially granted a construction permit by the Construction Department of Hau Giang Province on July 14th 2022.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Hoang Van Tang - General Director of DIC Group emphasized: "With strong financial potential and experience in developing similar projects across the country, DIC Group will focus on supervising the construction work so that the whole project can be completed and put into operation right on the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Hau Giang Province (expected by the end of 2023). When put into operation, Hau Giang DIC Star hotel will inherit the entire system of technical infrastructure and services of DIC Victory City. Nonetheless, the hotel can connect with many tourist attractions and routes from Hau Giang and Mekong Delta, creating an attractive destination for tourists and stable jobs for local workers.

UNIQUE ARCHITECTURAL INSPIRATION FROM “MELALEUCA FOREST”

In order to achieve the goal of making Hau Giang DIC Star project become a tourism symbol of Hau Giang province, DIC Group has consulted with NDA Group, a famous French design corporation with 34 years of experience and more than 300 successful real estate projects in the world, to work on architectural and interior designs.

Coming from the idea of living in the landscape of Mekong region, the rustic images of the Mekong - Hau Giang region like the river, the green melaleuca forests, the fragrant lotus ponds,… will be designed within the hotel precinct. Mr. Emmanuel Delarue – General Director of NDA Group shared: “NDA Group will use a unique architectural language to create a resort space with international standards while still preserving the indigenous imprints of the Mekong landscape.”

About this project, in addition to aesthetic architectural elements, DIC Group also pays attention to customer experience. The hotel will include a full range of internal facilities such as: Asian-Europe restaurant, garden cafe, bar, treatment spa, gym and karaoke area, swimming pool… Moreover, the hotel also owns the most modern conference center in Hau Giang with a capacity up to 1,000 seats, meeting the needs of organizing important events and conferences of the localities and businesses. At the same time, overnight visitors will have easy access to a variety of public services located in 83.46 hectares of DIC Victory City.

Speaking at the commencement ceremony, Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee emphasized: "The implementation of Hau Giang DIC Star Hotel will solve the shortage of accommodation services and other local services in the Vi Thanh city in particular and Hau Giang province in general, thereby making an important contribution to complete Vi Thanh city's grade II urban standards which was acknowledged by the Prime Minister at the end of 2019”.

Within the framework of the event "The Launching Ceremony of Hau Giang DIC Star Hotel", DIC Vision (a subsidiary company of DIC Group) and Major Education had signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in investment and exploitation of educational land funds. The two sides will cooperate to build and operate an international school system located in the urban areas invested by DIC Group across the country.
